The Adventure Begins

I was going through some old photos the other day, scanning and organizing, and came across some pictures of our first yaks arriving on the farm. We started small, one adult bull, one young female, and one adult female with her 5 month old baby bull. We were all pretty excited about their arrival. A few months earlier we had been to Colorado and visited a yak ranch. That was the first time we had been in a pasture with yaks. We had been researching them for a while but that visit sealed the deal. We wanted to raise yaks.
